  • Preparation of a book on log tracking technology (World Bank)

  • Evaluation of projects to promote reduced-impact logging (ITTO)

  • Comparative analysis of harvesting intensity and the production of forest residues in developing countries (FAO)

  • Environmental impact assessment of oil drilling on privately owned forest lands in Argentina; expert witness in a lawsuit to recover damages from the oil company

  • Assist the Center for International Forestry Research to develop a comprehensive program of research and budget (CIFOR)

  • Evaluation of a draft Code of Forest Practice for China (ILO and FAO)

  • Examination of logging operations in the Congo Basin to advise on revised practices needed to conform to sustainable-management guidelines (USAID and USDA Forest Service)

  • Preparation of sustainable forest management policies and procedures for a timber company in the Republic of Congo, to assist the company in its efforts to become certified

  • Review of a revised timber concession management program for Cambodia (World Bank)

  • Computer programming work for the Forest Engineering Department, Oregon State University: Spreadsheet software for development and analysis of timber harvesting budgets

  • Technical editing and publication layout of five Forest Harvesting Case Studies (FAO)
