RILSIM Versions
Current Version
The current version of RILSIM is 2.00. You can obtain RILSIM (or update an existing installation of RILSIM to the latest version) either from a CD-ROM, which you can order together with a printed User's Guide that will be shipped to you free of charge, or from an installation module that you can download from the Internet. | 1.01 | Prototype based on MS-Excel and used to develop forms and organize data structures. | |
| 1.02 | Initial version of the C++ model, used for internal testing only. | |
| 1.03 | Alpha version, used by the RILSIM development team for general testing. | |
| 1.04 | Beta version, released for use in a workshop held in Indonesia during May 2002. | |
| 1.05 | Initial distribution version, released in April 2003 and distributed on CD-ROM with a printed User's Guide. | |
| 1.06 | First minor update version, released in August 2003 and available only as a download. This revision corrects one programming error and adds active hyperlinks to RILSIM's About box. For details on the programming error, click here. | |
| 1.07 | Second minor update version, released in January 2004 and available only as a download. This version fixes several minor bugs and more importantly corrects a procedural error in the way equipment costs are calculated. | 2.00 | First major upgrade version, released in September 2004 and available both in an installation package containing a CD-ROM and printed User's Guide and also as a download from the Internet. This version incorporates all previous bug fixes and adds a number of significant new capabilities. Both the printed and electronic versions of the User's Guide have been substantially revised, and the electronic help system has been updated. |
Who Should Upgrade to the Latest Version?
The upgrade is recommended for anyone currently running a version of RILSIM earlier than 2.00.
